| I'm having a xanga posting war with Wen right now. Hehe this is going to be fun because I really like rambling about stupid nonsensical stuff and stuff like that. Varisty is playing a match at MV tennis courts right now. It's SO hot I don't think I will ever be able to play a match outside in this heat. It's about 100+ degrees. Oh my Gosh. We have a match (JV) against Palo Alto tomorrow and me and Wen are playing. Hehehe. Anyway, today in lit we had a test and it was really weird. There were some things on it that we didn't even cover in class which is really sort of retarded. Sigh. Mrs. Paxton is so boring. Well, she gave us like mini tootsie-pops today which I really detest. So, in chem, (2nd period) I decided to be generous and ask people if they wanted my tootsie-pop. First, I asked Sri. And then he rudely refused because he said it was "sweaty". Psh. So then, I asked Tiffany and she said "no." Then I just randomly stuck it in Bradley's backpack as a desperate gesture that I wanted to get rid of it. And then he came by and told me that he wanted me to give it to some unfortunate stranger because they would appreciate it more than he did. What the hell? And then he did a maniac laugh which really freaked me out and said that teasing me was really fun. Go to hell, Bradley. Just kidding. Anyway, chem was really boring and frustrating. I do NOT understand the concept of moles. I'm going to go home today and read the chemistry book really closely. I hate the feeling of not getting something. It's a really frustrating feeling and it makes me feel stressed. When I understand something, it makes me feel like I'm on the top of the world. It's a great feeling, really. Anyway, the only reason I'm posting on this xanga is (like I said before) because I'm doing a xanga-posting war with Wen. Otherwise, I don't think I've updated this thing for nearly a year. Or whatever. I don't know. Let's see, in French, which is third period, we didn't really do anything because we took the passe compose test which was pretty easy but I think I failed anyway. Anyway, French was boring and I think I'm starting to run out of things to say because I'm being very repetitive. Anyway, let's see. What did I have fourth period. Oh yea math! hHAHAHA the standing ovation thing was so funny!!!! I was doing a standing ovation for fun because I didn't get one and I really wanted one and other people got one and they didn't even do half "standing ovation" things. Or they didn't do things that were worthy enough for a standing ovation. So I was doing a standing ovation, and then Mr. Powers saw me and then he was like "yes, standing ovation" LOL. It was pretty funny. Anyway, we did CN 11 and 12 in class today. We're not getting our tests back until block day (which for me, is Wednesday because I have math 4th period and 4th period is an even class and Wednesday is even block day). That was pretty self explanatory. Anyway, math was pretty boring afterwards. I want to know really badly what I got on my test! I hope I did oka because it was a possible 90 out of 60 points. Anyway, at orchestra, it was pretty fun because we didn't play since the Chiffon Fu concert was on Saturday. So we fooled around the entire time and Tobin made a comment that me and Jane's energy combined is enough to power a "something". LOL. Pretty funny, but undoubtedly rude. Tobin also made another rude comment that hurt my feelings. >( Stupid Tobin. He was like, "Julie, when's your birthday?" And I was like, "Why?" and then he was like "Just tell me!" And I was like "February". And then he was like, "So in February, you're going to turn 11?" I was like *GASP* *slap*. PSH. I don't act/look/seem THAT young. And Matt said that I'm like a kid. Thanks a lot. Hahaha. Appassionato meeting was boring and stupid so I went to waterwalkers which was very refreshing and inspiring. XD Oka, the history test was pretty easy. I got one of the extra credits (the capital of Bulgaria) and I'm glad because I don't think I did so well on part two. Anyway. So that was my day and I have nothing else to talk about. | | |
| I'm in third period right now. In the career center. I'll post later.

| Only five more days of Xanga Premium! I'm going to miss having such a huge posting window. LOL. I'm weird. Anyway, Chinese school today was pretty gay. After Chinese school, I just went home and did Chinese homework, and French and math homework. I'm pretty much finished with homework for both schools. But I have to practice a lot of violin today since I didn't get to practice yesterday.Oka, you know what I discovered? I get hungry A LOT. I just ate a burrito and some grapefruit juice like one hour ago and my stomach is already starting to scream for food. Something's wrong with me. I'm always hungry. Right now I don't feel like eating any more burritos though. What else is there to eat? Ramen noodles... I had that for lunch. Sigh.I remembered James Li. He was in my group for the first science project of the year in 8th grade. We made a machine that scoops snow when the seasons are snowy. I also remember that Angela and Yaroslava were in my group. We got an A- on our project. Throughout the rest of the year, he was always in Ms. Jackson's science class, probably in my period. And now he's gone. It was really a shock. I didn't quite know him so well, but I knew I knew him from somewhere. I can't believe it, truly. I know that millions of people that are 14 or 15 or whatever age die everyday, all around the world. But to have somebody I knew to die... it's too much! He was so young, he couldn't even live to see the outcome of the war with Iraq. He never even finished second semester of his first year in high school. There were so many things he didn't experience... I pray for his family and friends. If the war with Iraq turns out to be disatrous, I'll be happy that James didn't have to live through such a period. But for now, Rest In Peace, James Li. Sigh. I can't believe that something like that really happened. I'm really scared now, about SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome). CNN says that there have been multiple deaths around the region of Asia (Hong Kong, China, Taiwan) and no deaths reported so far in the U.S. My mom just came back from Taiwan, and my dad is in Taiwan. And there is a virus that is probably going around the U.S. now. And many of my friends are sick. It could be the common cold, or SARS. I wish there was no such thing as illness.
